Cade Alpers
DJ + EMCEE
Cade grew up in a musical home and it wasn’t long before he picked up an instrument himself. He started on tuba before finding his way to electric guitar and drums. His lifelong passion for music led him to a career as an audio engineer and eventually, to DJing.
Ask him what he loves about DJing weddings and he’ll tell you it’s that moment when the room flips. One minute it’s polite conversation, the next the ties are loose, the heels are off, and the dance floor is packed. That shift in energy never gets old.
Cade’s taste runs from pop to metal to jazz. It’s a weird combo by his own admission, but that range gives him a deep well of music knowledge to pull from for any crowd. When he’s not behind the decks, Cade spends his time lifting weights, coding and learning more music.

Why do you live in Northern Michigan and what do you enjoy about the area?
I live in Northern Michigan because there’s just something special about it. From the shoreline in Traverse City to the small towns tucked between the trees, it’s a place where people show up for each other.
